The traditional family company STR Elektronik was founded by Josef Schlechtinger almost 50 years ago. As early as 1972, STR demonstrated its performance potential by equipping the entire Munich Olympic Village with intercom systems. STR has developed into a leading manufacturer of solutions for communication and security in buildings and sells its products worldwide.
STR stands for modern solutions in door communication which, with a high level of user benefit and time-saving installation technology, also meet the demands of tomorrow. Intercom systems and components for electronic access control are at the centre of our product philosophy as central, high-performance systems. Our development engineers pay attention to future-proof functions, but at the same time to economical installation and simple operability. In order to meet the demands of even complex projects, hardware and software are constantly adapted and optimised.
