The Briefkasten Manufaktur is growing
Today, 45 employees work at two locations in Bad Salzuflen. Our mailboxes are delivered to many European countries, Australia, Japan and the USA.
New technologies - new partners
The Briefkasten Manufaktur regularly adapts to new technologies. Products from the areas of e-mobility, smart home and electronic parcel receipt are now also among our strengths and are constantly being further developed in cooperation with our partners. This creates contemporary and functional products with high quality standards.
Thanks to our flexible hand-made production and storage area of 1500m² at the Bad Salzuflen site, you can receive a large selection of letterboxes, fixed letterboxes and letterbox systems from the Briefkasten Manufaktur within a few working days! Most of the systems can be configured by the customer, so that the height of the stand elements, the number of letterboxes or the colour can be easily adjusted. Furthermore, a large number of accessories can be integrated, including a rain cover, a newspaper compartment, additional bell buttons, light buttons and an engraving of the house number or name.
We have been manufacturing our products in Bad Salzuflen, Lippe since 2003. The majority of our products are handmade here. Modern tools such as a fibre laser and our WiG welding department help us to create an optimal product. Already in the construction phase, we focus on recyclable materials and easy assembly of our products - in case of repair or a desired extension, we can thus offer you a considerable added value.

Briefkasten Manufaktur - a tradition since 2003
At the Briefkasten Manufaktur you can order your letterbox, standing letterbox or your letterbox system with countless adjustments directly in the shop! The Briefkasten Manufaktur only uses systems, components and individual parts from well-known manufacturers from Germany. But our customer service does not end with your order: After your order, you will receive a design drawing by email as a PDF, so that your requirements can be realised down to the last detail. Your requirements will be dealt with in detail, usually even special requests that go beyond our range of configurations can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox will be individually manufactured and delivered conveniently by parcel post. The customer service does not end here either, with coordinated packaging we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, bells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition. And if you do not like a product you have bought or something is not to your liking, you do not take any risks with us as a consumer. You can return our products within two weeks.
Variability through individual production
Every product at the Briefkasten Manufaktur is a unique product and is only handcrafted for you after you have placed your order. As a result, many of our products can already be ordered directly in the shop with endless adjustments. This is possible due to the modular structure, the flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated, so that in some cases very short delivery times can be achieved.

All products from our range are made in Germany, from design to production. Since we were founded in 2003, we have relied on ground breaking products that combine technical functionality and design perfection. The result is contemporary products that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. All products are manufactured by committed employees in our factory in Bad Salzuflen, Germany and in the factories of our manufacturing companies. This is how unique pieces with high standards of design and quality are created, which often last a lifetime.
Stainless steel - the material for high design and quality standards
Our production is specialized in the field of stainless steel processing. We use stainless steel for our products as far as possible. But the selection of the right material always depends on the individual requirement. If the component has to withstand high loads, if it is exposed to wind and weather or even aggressive chemicals, if it has to meet hygiene standards or safety requirements, or if it is to have a special surface design - the material stainless steel fulfills all of the above conditions in an outstanding manner. Compared to most non-alloy steels, stainless steel has significantly higher mechanical properties, much better corrosion resistance and an always striking surface finish. Stainless steel is therefore not only the first choice for us, but is also preferred in the chemical and food industries, in kitchen and bath construction, as well as in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
The assurance of quality begins with the selection of the prematerial suppliers and ends only when the stainless steel mailboxes and mailbox systems arrive at the customer in the required quality.
