Today, 45 employees work at two locations in Bad Salzuflen. Our letterboxes are delivered to many European countries, Australia, Japan and the USA.

Briefkasten Manufaktur regularly adapts to new technologies. Products from the fields of e-mobility, smart homes and electronic parcel delivery are now also among our strengths and are constantly being developed further in collaboration with our partners. This results in contemporary and functional products and brands with high quality standards.
Production by hand
Thanks to our flexible handcrafted production and 1500m² of storage space at our Bad Salzuflen site, you can obtain a large selection of letterboxes, free-standing letterboxes and letterbox systems from Briefkasten Manufaktur within just a few working days! Most of the systems can be configured by the customer so that the height of the stand elements, the number of letterboxes or the colour can be easily adapted. A wide range of accessories can also be integrated, including a rain canopy, a newspaper compartment, additional bell buttons, light buttons and engraving of the house number or name.

We have been manufacturing our products in Bad Salzuflen, Lippe, since 2003. The majority of our products are manufactured here by hand. Modern tools such as a fibre laser and our WiG welding department help us to create an optimum product. We focus on recyclable materials and simple assembly of our products right from the design phase - so we can offer you considerable added value in the event of repairs or a desired extension. Visit our outdoor exhibition and let our competent sales team advise you by appointment. Many of our products are already on display in the current exhibition.

At Briefkasten Manufaktur, you can order your letterbox, free-standing letterbox or letterbox system with countless customisations directly in the shop! Briefkasten Manufaktur only uses systems, components and individual parts from well-known manufacturers in Germany. But our customer service doesn't end with your order: After your order, you may receive a construction drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your wishes will be considered in detail and, as a rule, even special requests that go beyond our configuration offer can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox is customised and conveniently delivered by parcel post. Our customer service does not end here either, we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition with coordinated packaging. And if you do not like a product you have purchased or something is not to your liking, you do not run any risk with us as a consumer. You can return our products within two weeks.
Variability through customisation
Every product at Briefkasten Manufaktur is customised and is only made by hand for you after you place your order. Many of our products can therefore be ordered directly in the shop with countless customisations. This is possible thanks to the modular structure, flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated so that very short delivery times can be achieved in some cases.
Stainless steel - the material for high design and quality standards
Our production has specialised in stainless steel processing. We use stainless steel as far as possible for our products. However, the choice of the right material always depends on the individual requirements. If the component has to withstand heavy loads, if it is exposed to wind and weather or even aggressive chemicals, if it has to meet hygiene standards or safety requirements or if it has to have a special surface design - stainless steel fulfils all of the above conditions in an outstanding manner. Compared to most non-alloy steels, stainless steel has significantly higher mechanical properties, much better corrosion resistance and a surface finish that is always striking.
Quality assurance begins with the selection of raw material suppliers and only ends when the stainless steel letterboxes and letterbox systems reach the customer in the required quality. In addition, you receive a 5-year manufacturer's guarantee against material and processing defects and a 10-year guarantee against rusting through.
