Stainless steel letterbox Designer BIG HL-B with house number, backlit - RAL of your choice - INDIVIDUAL
Stylish stainless steel letterbox with newspaper flap made entirely of stainless steel V2A 1.4301, powder-coated in RAL fine structure matt with backlit house number. The house number is always clearly visible at night. No rivets or screws are visible. This letterbox is manufactured by Briefkasten Manufaktur. Made in Germany, Bad Salzuflen.
- Designer stainless steel flush-mounted letterbox made of 2 mm stainless steel V2A 1.4301, powder-coated in RAL fine structure matt. Also available as a surface-mounted version.
- Front mail removal door 350 mm x 300 mm, opens from top to bottom. Incl. 2 keys with key number.
- Mail slot from the front, dimensions: W 35 cm x H 6.3 cm, C4 landscape. Very large letters fit in here without creasing. Attention no removal protection!
- Now with built-in damping elements that allow the flap to close slowly and quietly.
- House number approx. 70mm high (max. 3 digits) with energy-saving LED lighting 12V DC approx. 50mA / 1W, white.
- Choice of replaceable stainless steel nameplate with laser inscription or Plexi nameplate.
- 8-12V DC short-stroke bell push with LED ring lighting (blue, white, red or green). The bell button lighting cannot be supplied via the control unit. It must be connected to an additional 8-12 V DC power supply.
- An 8-12 V DC short-stroke light button with pictogram is available as an option.
- Preparation (built-in loudspeaker not included) for intercom system possible.
- Optionally with universal adapter for all commercially available built-in loudspeakers.
- Optional preparation (camera not included in scope of delivery) for a camera.
- Incl. EVN LED power supply unit / transformer IP65 12V/DC 0.1-4W for LED lighting (house number, bell button and nameplate if selected).
- Flush-mounted or surface-mounted box dimensions: H 710 mm x W 410 x D 100 | 150 mm. Flush-mounted box with pre-punched cable inlets and fixing points on all sides. Surface-mounted box for wall mounting with rear perforation, surface-mounted box for fence mounting without perforation (must be provided by customer). ATTENTION: The front panel also protrudes 2 cm all round on surface-mounted boxes.
- Plaster box made of galvanised steel. Surface-mounted box made of stainless steel V2A, ground on all sides without visible screw connection.
- Plaster box with pre-punched cable inlets on all sides.
Camera or call station preparation
We recommend that the electrical installation is always carried out by an electrician.
We offer the preparation of cameras and intercoms from various manufacturers for our letterboxes. The preparation does not include any end devices, but only the provision of screw mounts, drill holes and perforations. So that you can mount your end device without any problems.
Water protection
To achieve optimum water protection for your mail, the letterbox or letterbox system should be located under a canopy if possible.
The mail is only protected from water if it is fully inserted in the box and the flap is closed. Mail that is not fully inserted allows moisture and dirt to penetrate the letterbox. It is therefore necessary to plan sufficiently dimensioned letterboxes for the upcoming requirements. In certain extreme weather conditions, water can still enter (up to 1ccm according to DIN EN 13724). This is not a reason for complaint.

Briefkasten Manufaktur only uses systems, components and individual parts from well-known manufacturers in Germany. But our customer service doesn't end with your order: After your order, you may receive a construction drawing by email as a PDF to realise your wishes down to the last detail. Your wishes will be considered in detail and, as a rule, even special requests that go beyond our configuration offer can be realised. After your production approval, your letterbox is customised and conveniently delivered by parcel post. Our customer service does not end here either, we ensure that the stainless steel letterboxes, letterbox systems, doorbells and lights are delivered to you in perfect condition with customised packaging.
And if you don't like a product you have purchased or something is not to your liking, you don't run any risk with us as a consumer. You can return our products within two weeks.

Every product at Briefkasten Manufaktur is customised and is only made by hand for you after you place your order. Many of our products can therefore be ordered directly in the shop with countless customisations. This is possible thanks to the modular structure, flexible prefabrication, warehousing and logistics. Individual components are already prefabricated so that very short delivery times can be achieved in some cases.
Simple installation thanks to well thought-out designs
Our letterbox systems are supplied with detailed and easy-to-understand documentation and assembly aids and are usually fully assembled within a very short time.
