Security letterbox type 174B - Extra volume - Polished stainless steel - Removal from the rear
Extra large security letterbox. Ideal for cities and municipalities for postal voting, but also car dealerships, banks or tax consultants benefit from the increased security standard.
- The TYPE 174B free-standing letter box with increased security standard is made of V2A 1.4301 stainless steel, polished.
- Very high-quality workmanship! Made in Germany.
- The material thickness of the letterbox column is 5mm / 2mm.
- The rear removal doors can be opened from left to right.
- Mail items up to B4, with toothed plate and steel pins to prevent unauthorised removal. Opening width adjustable.
- The letterbox is equipped with an ABUS profile half cylinder 30/10. This allows you to easily replace the lock with another profile half cylinder of your choice (e.g. a locking system) if required.
- Optionally with a fold-out insertion shaft (lock insertion) for items up to B4 (width 25.5 cm, length 36 cm, height 4.3 cm). When the slot is opened, a solid steel plate on the underside closes the slot so that unauthorised access to the post box is not possible. Post only falls into the lower part of the letter box when the chute is closed again. With lock insertion, this letter box can be used universally, from a thin bank transfer to the weekend edition of the FAZ, as well as for items such as keys up to a thickness of 35 mm.

Important information:
The post is only protected from moisture and dirt when it is fully inserted and the flap is closed. In certain extreme weather conditions, water may still enter (according to DIN EN 13724 up to 1ccm). This is not a reason for complaint.
