Gira surface-mounted gong
The surface-mounted gong is used in the Gira door communication system for additional signalling.
In conjunction with a mechanical push-button and a power supply, the surface-mounted gong can also be used alone as a "doorbell".

- Design diversity through integration into the switch programme, resulting in a uniform appearance of door communication and electrical installation.

The operating buttons on the gong control the following functions:
- Setting the ringing tone melody.
- Switching the ringing tone on and off.
- Setting the ring tone volume.

- Installation without cover frame possible.
- A 2-gang cover frame without centre bar is required for installation with System 55 or the switch ranges Flächenschalter and E22.

- This component can be used to set up telecommunications systems with up to 70 users
(e.g. 1 x built-in loudspeaker, 5 x extension module for built-in loudspeaker, 68 x surface-mounted home station).
