The Gira DCS-IP gateway makes operating door communication even more convenient and flexible. With a single device, the door intercom system can be connected via the network to the smartphone, tablet or computer as well as to the Gira G1 or the Gira Control Clients. The devices become communication centers and can be used wherever a network connection or WLAN is available. The DCS-IP gateway is installed as a REG device in the control cabinet and converts the signals from the Gira door communication system to network protocol level (IP). Commissioning is simple via the web interface. When accessed on the move, communication is encrypted via the integrated Secure Data Access, which is also used with the Gira S1.

TKS mobile

On the move or in the home WLAN: With Gira TKS mobile, Gira provides a real highlight for mobile access to the door intercom system. Communication between iOS and Android smartphones and the DCS IP gateway is encrypted thanks to integrated Secure Data Access. This guarantees maximum security.

Features

Early Media, group calls and the award-winning Gira interface design ensure that you know who is at the door, even when you are on the move. In the first version, images are updated twice a second. Thanks to Early Media, you can see who is at the door before the call starts. Unwanted calls are therefore a thing of the past.

Simple set-up

Setup is carried out as usual via the web browser of the DCS-IP gateway. In addition, registration and assignment via the Gira Portal is required. No audio or video files are saved. Thanks to the Gira DCS app, door calls can be seen on the mobile end device, you can speak and open the door directly if desired. If the app is not active in the background, e.g. after a restart of the mobile device, the door call still reaches the user. The pending door call is also notified via push notification when the Gira DCS app is "inactive/closed". This also increases the battery power of the mobile end device. The mobile end device does not need to be unlocked to accept the door call.

TKS Communicator

• With the "DCS Communicator" software, commercially available computers and PC-based operating devices, such as the Gira Control 9 Client or the Gira Control 19 Client, can be used as a home station via the network connection.
• The DCS Communicator offers all the functions of a video home station, such as answering calls, switching lights (in conjunction with a switching actuator) or opening doors.
• The following operating systems are supported by the DCS Communicator: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.6.
• The connection to the HomeServer or FacilityServer via a plug-in enables the display in the Gira interface.
• logic modules can be used to implement new application options, such as access control via the Gira Keyless In products.
