DoorBird IP I/O Door Controller A1081

The DoorBird I/O Door Controller A1081 offers the possibility to control up to three doors or gates in a tamper-proof manner via the network. In the vast majority of cases, electric strikes are connected directly to the door station via two wires for structural reasons. Unauthorised removal of the door station and deliberate short-circuiting of the wires can activate the electric strike and allow unauthorised persons access to the property or building. The DoorBird I/O Door Controller provides a proven remedy here, as it is installed in a protected indoor area, e.g. in a switch cabinet in the basement, and connected to the DoorBird IP Video Door Station via the network. The connection to the network can be made via network cable (PoE) or WLAN. All signals between the door station and I/O door controller are transmitted tamper-proof and encrypted in accordance with banking standards. Up to three electric strikes can be connected to the I/O door controller via wiring that cannot be reached from the outside. This prevents tampering, e.g. through a short circuit or an external voltage source. In the door intercom sector, an I/O door controller is often referred to as a "remote security relay", although the DoorBird I/O door controller can do much more than just tamper-proof remote control of doors and gates: It displays the switching status of the relay (e.g. open or closed) and up to two external sensors such as motion detectors, vibration sensors or contact switches can be connected and analysed, including worldwide alarm notification via push message on smartphone and tablet. Any number of DoorBird I/O Door Controllers can be connected to a DoorBird IP Video Door Station in a network. In the DoorBird app, all doors and gates activated in the I/O door controller are available at the click of a button, so that residents can conveniently open doors and gates from anywhere in the world using a smartphone or event configuration (e.g. RFID or keypad code).
